RA NA Standing Committees Convene Sittings

On December 11, the RA NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

At the sitting moderated by Hrayr Tovmasyan the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights in the extraordinary sitting debated three legislative initiatives which were endorsed and will be debated at December 12 extraordinary session of the parliament.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the RA law on Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service with the enclosed legislative package, the package of bills on Amending the RA law on Notary and on Making Addendum to the RA law on State Duty.

By the presentation of the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vigen Kocharyan the draft law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Protection of the Persons Subjected to Violence in the Family with the enclosed package was debated.

The Committee Chair Hrayr Tovmasyan, the Committee members, the NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan, the deputies Gevorg Kostanyan, Gevorg Petrosyan and Napoleon Azizyan expressed their viewpoints and concerns on the draft law.

At the extraordinary sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan debated and endorsed a group of legislative initiatives which would be debated at December 12 RA NA extraordinary sitting.

Artur Hovhannisyan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented for debate the package of draft laws on Amending the RA Budgetary System, on Amending the RA law on Treasury System, on Amending the RA law on State Non-Commercial Organizations, on Amending the RA law on Foundations, on Amending the RA law on Joint Stock Companies.

The RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan presented the package of draft laws on Amending the RA law on the RA Budgetary System and on Amending the RA law on State Duty.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan presented for debate the draft law on Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the RA and the Asian Development Bank.

The Chairman of the RA Central Bank Artur Javadyan presented for debate the package of the RA laws on Amending the RA law on the RA Central Bank, on Amending the RA law on Legal Acts, on Amending the RA law on Budgetary System.

The Committee endorsed the draft laws and the package of the draft laws for debating at December 12 RA NA extraordinary sitting.

On the same day a sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs which moderated the Committee Chair Khosrov Harutyunyan.

The draft law on Amending the RA law on Tax Service with the enclosed package was debated in the first reading.

The key speaker, the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Davit Ananyan presented for debate the RA draft law on Amending the RA law on Profit Tax.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan presented the bill on Amending the RA law on Joint Stock Companies and the draft law on Amending the RA Tax Code.

The debated draft laws and the legislative packages enjoyed the endorsement of the Committee. The legislative initiatives will be debated at December 12 RA NA extraordinary sitting.
